Apparently, it is a crime requiring arrest and being taken to jail to call a police officer a "retard."

Note that protesting outdoors (and even better when wearing a mask) is considered a fairly low risk activity in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, but one of the most dangerous places to be is indoors in a crowd of people. And jails and prisons are among the most dangerous places as far as coronavirus transmission.
This cop is insulted, so he is going to use the power and force we give to law enforcement with the intention that they will "serve and protect" us to lock this man up and put him at risk of a potentially lethal disease.
